The registration schedule for the NUMS MDCAT Entry test 2022 has been announced by the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS). Admission to NUMS-affiliated medical and dental universities requires passing the NUMS entry test. Registration will be open beginning on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. August 19, 2022, is the final application deadline for NUMS MDCAT 2022. Applications may be submitted with a late fee as late as September 2nd.
The NUMS MDCAT 2022 exam will be given on October 9 at 11:00 am. Pakistan will host the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test in 2022, in addition to international locations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the United Kingdom (UK), and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). On the admittance cards, test dates and times for international test centers will be listed. On October 9, 2022, candidates must arrive at their designated testing locations at least three hours prior to the start of the exam (i,e.by 08:00 AM). On the day of the test, the centers will be locked off and closed at 10:30. For the entrance exam, candidates may choose from any of the cities.

National University of Medical Sciences shall conduct Medical Entrance Test for admissions to MBBS/BDS programs in affiliated Public and Private Sector Medical I Dental colleges/Institutions for session 2022-23, on Sunday, 09th October 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Fee for the entry test is Rs. 3500/- All Government SOPs must be followed on test day.
Candidates will be able to download the roll number slips from 5 October 2020 onwards from NUMS MDCAT portal by entering CNIC, password/NICOP/Form B number.

Candidates must select 2 of the above-mentioned cities for the test according to the order of preference, however, the university reserves the right to shift a student to another nearest city based on the seating capacity.
NUMS MDCAT Entry Test 2022 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination (e.g., A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) with a minimum of 65%. However, those awaiting results can also apply. Mere appearance in NUMS MDCAT does not confer the right to apply for or claim.
The syllabus of the NUMS MDCAT 2022 is available on the NUMS website. The candidates are advised to prepare for the test according to this syllabus from their textbooks.
NUMS MDCAT Entry Test 20222 Pattern
NUMS MDCAT shall comprise two parts:
PART A
Part-A shall carry 95% weightage of NUMS Entry test 2022. Par-A shall consist of 150 MCQ questions with stipulated time 150 Minutes with following breakdown:
- Biology = 35%
- Chemistry = 25%
- Physics = 25%
- English = 10%
The Psychological Test Comprising 05 MCQs with a stipulated time of 30 Minutes.
The duration of the test shall be 150 minutes (02 hours & 30 minutes) and the total marks shall be 200.
There shall be no negative marking.
After the 150 minutes of MDCAT, students will have to take a 30 minutes aptitude test. It is mandatory but will not have any effect on the order of merit.
