HEC Trainee Program 2022: The application for the Huawei Seeds for Future Program 2022 is currently available. The Higher Education Commission recently unveiled its Seeds for a Future program for Pakistani nationals, in partnership with Huawei. Candidates may apply for this program from anywhere in Pakistan.
For between 30 and 40 Pakistani students interested in studying information and communication technology, Huawei and HEC have organized 8-day online training courses. The program will start on September 26, 2022. Candidates of both genders may apply for this program.
Candidates chosen for this program will have advanced skills in virtual cross-cultural communication as well as cloud, AI, and 5G technologies created at Huawei’s headquarters.
Based on their performance and participation, the participants will have the chance to receive mementos, Smartwatches, cellphones, and certifications. In the previous seven years, Higher Education Commission has selected over 130 students from various Pakistani institutions, and 50 of them have been sent to China by Huawei for a two-week training session.

HEC Trainee Program 2022 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the program, you need to fulfill the following criteria:
- All nationals of Pakistan are eligible to apply
- Candidates with dual nationalities are not eligible to apply
- Candidates belonging to the above fields can apply
- Candidates who have already completed the training in the previous years are not eligible
Selection Criteria:
- Completed four years of undergraduate degrees in the fields mentioned above can apply.
- Candidates’ age must be less than 24 years
- Must have good communication skills
- Applicants must have an interest in the technology field
- Candidates must have a personal PC with a strong internet connection
- Candidates enrolled in undergraduate degree programs in the (6,7 & 8) semesters can apply
